What we do
There has been an increase in young people being home educated. One of our volunteers home educates her children and is actively involved in the home education community in Chichester, and the surrounding areas.
To support this need, the club offers a two hour session every week during term time. This is a family session which caters for young people between 0 – 18 accompanied by a responsible adult.
The session is driven by the voices and wishes of the young people who attend and encompasses activities such as:
Sport and Leisure – Football, Basketball, Badminton, Nerf Wars, Pool, Table Tennis, Assault Courses and Dance.
Imaginative Free Play – Dressing Up, Music, Theatre, Lego, Sensory Play.
Cooking – Whilst this is not every week we look to encourage baking and cooking when available.
Arts and Crafts – Varied and tailored to the ages and wants of the young people. From Colouring to painting, bead making to spray painting.
Socialising – Interactive play in a safe environment to encourage new friendships and healthy support networks.
Safe Space – For adults to engage with each other and network within the home education scene.
On occasion we run workshops and have been offered spaces at forest schools.
When We meet
Every Tuesday 1pm to 3pm during term time.
